Sliced banana with peanut butter

With three teenagers in the house, I have to keep snack food on hand at all times. And as a single mom, I need to get the most bang for my buck. So there is always — and I do mean always — a jar of all-natural peanut butter in my pantry.

This recipe can be made ahead of time, wrapped in plastic wrap and frozen. But my children prefer to fix it themselves and eat it right away.

  • dark chocolate chips
  1. Slice banana in half.
  2. Spread peanut butter on banana halves.
  3. Sprinkle with dark chocolate chips and serve.
