How to stop menopause from breaking your heart

You don’t know how much of a health guardian estrogen is to a woman until you go through menopause. Women already know about the mild symptoms like hot flashes, and the risk for osteoporosis. But losing estrogen also has a nasty effect on women’s arteries – you can develop endothelial dysfunction and high blood pressure. Although the drug companies’ “hormone replacement therapy” isn’t a safe way to replace estrogen, there’s…

A juice feast: The easiest gentlest internal cleanse

I used to laugh at the word “toxins” when I practiced only conventional medicine. But years of study, and results from thousands of patients have shown me the important role that removing toxins plays in giving you back optimal health. The paleo diet’s answer for perfect digestion

Before I went on the paleo diet, my digestive system never did its job without complaint. Constipation, diarrhea, stomach pains and bloating were near-constant companions. Until I forswore the problem foods in my diet, the aftermath of many of my meals were torment. A big part of my digestive insanity was a condition known as “leaky gut.” Although the digestive tract is supposed to keep allergens and pathogens from entering…

3 simple exercises to strengthen the shoulders

Shoulder strength and tone are very important. Many people lose their range of motion in the shoulders over time, which limits their activities in daily living. It also is not uncommon for athletes and those who are a bit more fit and play sports on weekends, to tear their rotator cuffs or otherwise injure their shoulders. Both of these scenarios can be lessened if one learns how to strengthen their…

Government admits it has overdosed children on fluoride

Last week, the government admitted it overdosed American children on fluoride. Citing studies showing that 2 out of 5 adolescents had tooth streaking, spottiness or pitting (i.e., fluoride poisoning), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reduced its guidelines for municipal water supplies to 0.7 milligrams per liter from 1.2 mg per liter. For many years, I have been warning readers that the government was waging war on American people…
