When Jason was seven, his father passed way from lung cancer. That trauma, he says, served as the catalyst for his severe anxiety and bipolar disorder, a combination that caused him to withdraw from friends and family. Jason isolated himself in his bedroom for most of his high school years, and at his lowest point, self-harmed. Jason details his intensive therapy at CAMH, and how he’s formed an invaluable support group of people suffering from similar disorders. (Produced by Matthew Campea; cinematography by Matthew Bennett).
